Last Saturday, February 24th, we were serving breakfast for the first time at the Bio Market café in Klein Windhoek. We prepared everything the day before, and on Saturday from 7:00 a.m., almost the entire team from the «Yo Me Voy Pa’ España» project was there, ready to prepare coffee, sandwiches, and desserts.
Some were cutting bread and spreading butter, others were clearing dirty dishes, some were washing them, others were selling, and others were collecting payments. It was a true team effort executed with positivity and efficiency.
We served breakfast to around 100 people. Many thanks for your cooperation, especially to those who donated by purchasing raffle tickets. Indeed, after the market celebration, we streamed live on Instagram the raffle draw with all the prizes generously donated by some businesses in the city.
