Today, Friday, May 23rd, 2025, the Yo Me Voy Pa’ España Project has just released the second episode of the YMVPE Podcast, which you can listen to on our social media platforms and right here:

In this second episode, we began by chatting with Lara, the Spanish language assistant in Namibia, about the latest news regarding the upcoming event taking place on Saturday, May 24th in Prosperita, Windhoek, starting at 8:00 PM. Rovy and his band will liven up a wonderful evening filled with delicious food prepared especially for the occasion, and everyone in Namibia is warmly invited to attend for the modest price of 150 Namibian dollars.

We were also visited by Jana, one of the first students to recently fulfill her dream of traveling to Spain. We got to know her a bit better as she shared her experience as a key participant in the first edition of the YMVPE project.

Antonio and Claudia, dear friends in Spain and passionate supporters of this project from day one, have kindly joined us for the second segment of the podcast. They have provided meals and accommodation for the girls during our stay in Salamanca, and today, we paid tribute to them and all those who have contributed to the success of this initiative. We had a great conversation, got to know them better, and enjoyed hearing their experiences and a few anecdotes. Thank you once again for always supporting us!

Our final guest was McCloud, our local collaborator, who shared more about his impressive polyglot abilities. He gave us fantastic tips for improving our language learning and revealed the resources that have helped him master ten languages at only 27 years old.

In this second episode, we also had the pleasure of featuring music from the Hispano-American band Indios Beta. Their songs added a special touch to the podcast, and we hope they were a great musical discovery for you. You’ll find direct links to their social media in the description.
