On Sunday I was introduced to Mario’s friend Jean, who had offered Cris and Mario a place to sleep at his house. During this trip I’ve been busy writing up my thesis and it was due on the following Tuesday the 26th of November, so I was offered an extra room at Jean’s so that I could get all my work done in time.

Tuesday was mainly a travel day as we were set to travel to Madrid. We had breakfast at the AirBnB where the rest of the girls were staying before we hit the road. The trip took us 7 hours and I worked on my thesis for majority of the time. I managed to submit it and sent it to my amazing friend back home that printed it out for me and will hand in. As the end of this trip begins to near, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming gratitude for everyone that made it possible as well as everyone back home that continues to support me and also the cause. If it weren’t for my friend I wouldn’t have been able to submit my thesis which is a huge deal for me.

We finally arrived in Madrid and we got into our AirBnB, the walk with the suitcases is also a feat but I think it all works out for us since we’ve been eating so much bread everyday. Once we arrived upstairs we divided ourselves into our rooms and shortly after Mario left to buy some groceries for the dinner we were going to cook. We had a chicken spaghetti with chicken and veggies which was amazing. We then sat down and got into a movie, which was cut short as we lost electricity. The power outage resulted in all of us just going to bed and that was the end of the day.
