On Tuesday, April 23rd, the Ambassador of Spain in Namibia, Mr. Alberto de la Calle, kindly invited all members of the ‘Yo Me Voy Pa’ España’ project to a poetry recital and a subsequent reception at his official residence.
In addition to this gracious gesture, he invited ten members of the project, including the Spanish lecturer, Mario Prada, to read one of the selected poems.
It was a fantastic opportunity to bring the world of Spanish-language poetry to the University of Namibia as a whole, and particularly to the members of our project, all of whom are students of Spanish.
