Yesterday, Saturday, November 9th, 2024, the participants of the #YoMeVoyPaEspaña Project, in its first edition, had the honor of serving breakfast for the last time this year at the Green Market in Klein Windhoek, in the city center.
Once again, we would like to express our gratitude to the organizers of this already iconic market, which has been in existence for over twenty years, for the trust they have placed in our project and in our team. Thanks to them, we were able to participate for the seventh time, raising the highest amount we’ve ever earned at these events: around 400 euros. While this figure would have been unattainable without the generous donations of some of our most loyal collaborators, we are deeply grateful to them. A heartfelt thanks to Guadalupe, Begoña, Andre, Natalia, Diego, Elsemi, Justyna, Nicolás, Veronica and Isabelle, for their incredibly generous donations during such a critical time, when we have not yet reached 100% of the funds required.
Also, Emilia, the Consul of Spain, kindly came to offer a contribution. Many thanks again, Emilia, for your infinite empathy and generosity towards our project.
Without people like those mentioned above, and without the many others who have supported us in various ways over these thirteen months, none of this would have been possible. As the saying goes, “It’s a good person who knows how to be grateful.” For this reason, they will soon have a special place on our website and in the book that will be published.
Here are some photos as a testament to the last and most emotional market:
Your support is very important for us. You can help us by following us on social media and spreading the word about our project!
