First event at Droombos Market

On Saturday, September 30, 2023, we participated in our first fundraising event to travel to Spain next year. It took place at Droombos Market in Windhoek. On one hand, we offered typical Spanish food: tuna and meat empanadas, and potato omelette. On the other hand, we presented handmade natural cosmetic products. For drinks, the attending audience had the chance to taste traditional Spanish sangría.

Despite the fact that there weren’t many people, and it was our first time participating in a market, we were able to raise all the invested money and introduce our project to the public in person.
