Today we woke up early in anticipation of leaving Sevilla early. As we left the Airbnb, and got to the car, we made the discovery that Mario’s wallet was missing. We spent the next 30 minutes looking for it, worried it was lost forever.We eventually had to conclude it was gone, and went to report the missing wallet to the police.We then left Sevilla and started on our way to Córdoba.
Upon arriving in Cordoba, we took a tour of the Mosque-Cathedral. There, we learned about the history of Cordoba, and how a Mosque was built by Arabic influence and expanded over the years. When Christianity conquered Cordoba, a large cathedral was built in the middle of the mosque, and the Islamic Mosque had been converted into a Christian church, still preserving the Mosque.
After the tour, we walked back to where the car was parked to get lunch at a lovely restaurant.
We then walked to a museum close to the mosque and look at the exhibition there.After that we tried to find the 3 Cultures Museum but we had no luck, and ended up going back to the car.
We drove to Jaén where we would spend the night. We walked to get food and bring it back to our airbnb, afterwards we said goodnight and tucked ourselves in for the night.
